On 30 July, press publishers from France (l'Alliance de la presse d'information générale) and Germany (VG Media) publicised their recent steps towards creating a new CMO focusing on licensing platforms’ use of the press publishers right.
The group is in it’s final stages, finalising the details and have confirmed that an official announcement is to be expected in the coming weeks.
The new CMO will be open to all European publishers and their representatives.
